Diving on The Sunswale and Rosslyn Wrecks, Gibraltar

Dive 1: The Sunswale

Guide: Tomas.

The Sunswale was sunk in April 2015 as an artificial reef lying in about 23m of water.

The viz was very poor, less than 5m. We didn't see very much.

The boat didn't stop to drop us off, we did a giant stride into the water then the boat went to deeper water to wait for us.

There were 6 divers plus the guide. 2 divers ascended after about 15 minutes with the guide. The other 2 ascended very soon afterwards. We stayed down for 38 minutes.

Dive 2: The Rosslyn

Guide: Thomas

The wreck is about 340 feet long lying at 20m.

We were again abandonded by the other divers very soon after entering the water. Viz still very bad, probably 3-4m.

Not a very interesting wreck.
