We got closer to the sky with Skyline Adventure
Jo was a bit nervous about this daytrip, as she is afraid of heights!
Our taxi picked us on time up at 7:45 and after collecting a few other customers took us into the Rainforest to the Skyline Adventure Ziplines.
After getting kitted up in our safety harnesses, pretty pink hair nets and hard hats we were were given a briefing about the fun ahead.
In the words of the brochure: We experienced exciting activities, such as tree top platforms, abseiling, sky bridges, spiral stair cases (around the trees) and panoramic sea views.
We had 2 "Trained professional guides" who showed what to do, making sure that we were always hooked either to the safety lines on the trees and platforms or onto the zip lines.
For 200 Bhats one of the guides carried our camera and took video and still photos of us on the zip lines.
It was a lot of fun riding the zip lines through the trees, high up in the mountains looking down over the bay at Patong beach.
After the tour we were given a light lunch - Chicken, soups, rice, bread, plus a free t-shirt.
Then the taxi returned us to our hotel in Patong Beach.
